Changes to the Management Board of msg life and msg nexinsure

There will be a personnel change on the Management Board of msg life ag and msg nexinsure ag in early August of this year: after 15 years, Chairman Rolf Zielke is stepping down from the Management Board of both companies for personal reasons and in the best mutual agreement at the end of July 2023. Dr Andrea van Aubel will be appointed to the Management Board of msg life and msg nexinsure with effect from 1 August 2023 and take over as Chairwoman of both companies. The Supervisory Boards thank Rolf Zielke for his many years of outstanding work for the two companies.

With a PhD in mathematics for business, Dr Andrea van Aubel has also been a member of the Management Board of msg systems ag, Ismaning, since 1 January 2023, where she is in charge of the Insurance division, and will remain in this role. Dr Andrea van Aubel has 30 years of professional experience in charge of IT and specialist departments in the insurance industry, including positions as Chief Operating Officer at Zurich-Versicherung and Chief Information Officer at AXA. She has advanced the next generation of insurance technology considerably in these roles.

Rolf Zielke joined the then FJA Group in 2003 and was appointed to the Management Board of FJA AG in 2009. Rolf Zielke has been on the Management Board of msg life ag since 2009 and on the Management Board of msg nexinsure ag since 2020. Following his resignation, which the Supervisory Boards of both companies accepted in late summer 2022, he will continue to work with the company as a consultant and remain closely involved in the further development of msg insur:it.
